EchidnaCare privacy summary: what we collect, how facility records are protected, location consent controls, retention, and exports.

Last updated June 21, 2026

What we collect

We collect account details needed to operate EchidnaCare, such as names, email addresses, facility or organization names, team roles, billing status, and support or sales messages you send us.

Facilities may store animal records, veterinary notes, husbandry logs, documents, enclosure details, maintenance reports, staff safety settings, and other operational records inside the product.

How we use information

We use information to provide the product, support your team, secure accounts, process subscriptions, migrate records, improve reliability, and respond to sales or support requests.

We do not sell facility records, staff records, or animal care data.

Staff safety and location

Staff safety features use clear consent, access controls, location limits, and limits on how long data is kept. Location sharing is intended for safety during active shifts, not general employee surveillance.

Facility administrators are responsible for configuring staff safety tools in a way that fits their policies and local employment or privacy requirements.

Security and retention

EchidnaCare uses encrypted connections, access based on each person's role, records of sensitive changes, and automated backups to help protect official records.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or service obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and honor reasonable download or deletion requests.

Exports and requests

Your facility records belong to your facility. Every plan supports record downloads and read-only connections for approved software.

For privacy, export, correction, or deletion questions, contact team@echidnacare.com.
