Every animal treated, release followed and habitat monitored adds to a project’s knowledge. We want to help teams keep that information together, even when time and resources are limited. Echidna is made in the USA, and Wild Spaces brings its recordkeeping tools to conservation projects around the world.
Protecting wildlife also helps ecosystems function. Research links seed dispersal and other animal activity with forest recovery and carbon storage, although the effects vary by habitat. We explain that evidence and its limits alongside our approach to responsible AI. Software donations and our estimated AI footprint are reported separately.

Practical conservation, built around the place and its people.
Wild Spaces takes a nonpartisan approach. We support useful work for wildlife and habitats, and assess projects by their needs, animal-welfare practices, local knowledge and evidence of results. Political affiliation is not a selection criterion.
Different places need different approaches. We value cooperation among conservation teams, zoos, veterinarians, landowners, farmers and local communities. We ask what works in that setting, what the tradeoffs are, and how the people responsible will review the results.
